Diabetes and fracture risk

Description

Literature reports that fracture risk in patients with type 2 diabetes is increased. However, more recent research suggests that this increased risk is only present in patients with certain risk factors. With this research project we want to further elucidate the association between diabetes and fracture risk and to study potential risk factors.
