Infliximab SWITCH study

Description

This study aims to collect and examine real world data from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patients switching from iv infliximab therapy to sc Infliximab therapy. We want to investigate subjective patient-reported outcomes (PROMs) in addition to objective outcome measures. With these data, we aim to answer the following questions:

Efficacy of subcutaneous infliximab (at the clinical, biochemical and PROM level)
Toxicity of subcutaneous infliximab (immunogenicity, ADAbs)
Pharmacokinetics of subcutaneous infliximab (trough levels, AUC)
Patient convenience and satisfaction
Cost overall (and possible carbon footprint)
