Medication Review with Large Language Models

Description

In an ageing population, patients with multimorbidity and, consequently, polypharmacy are becoming increasingly common. The increasing number of medications used by these patients also adds to the complexity of conducting medication reviews.
Large language models (LLMs) have the potential to support healthcare professionals in conducting medication reviews. In this project, we will evaluate the performance of an LLM in conducting a medication review and explore its potential to support this process.
