Judith Gulikers Successfully Defends Dissertation on Targeted Therapy in Lung Cancer
On Thursday, January 16, 2025, Judith Gulikers successfully defended her dissertation titled "Improving effective and safe use of targeted therapies in non-small cell lung cancer." Using various research methods (laboratory analyses, pharmaco-epidemiological, and clinical pharmacological), she worked towards making the use of (expensive) anticancer drugs in lung cancer patients more effective, efficient, and safer. This was done under the guidance of her supervisor, Prof. Dr. Vivianne C.G. Tjan-Heijnen, and co-supervisors Dr. Robin M.J.M. van Geel, Dr. Lizza E.L. Hendriks, and Dr. S. Croes.
