Veerle van Hulten Successfully Defends Dissertation on Bone Health and Type 2 Diabetes

Veerle van Hulten successfully defended her dissertation, titled "Bone strength, microarchitecture, and fracture risk in Type 2 Diabetes," on February 13th!
Veerle used various databases (The Maastricht Study, CPRD, Danish data) to study the relationship between bone health and type 2 diabetes and defended her PhD excellently. She was guided by Prof. Dr. Joop van den Bergh, Prof. Dr. Martijn Brouwers, and Dr. Annemariek Driessen.
