In December 2025, Fatma Karapinar, Judith de Ruijter and Yannick Nielen visited the St. Maartenskliniek in Nijmegen. After a brief introduction, the St. Maartenskliniek team presented several ongoing research projects. Numerous connections and opportunities for collaboration were identified. On 24 April, they will visit MUMC+, where the research projects from MUMC+ will be presented.

On Wednesday, 4 March 2026, prof. dr. Jeroen Hendriks from MUMC+ and prof. dr. Tinne Dilles from the University of Antwerp conducted a work visit. The purpose of this visit was to explore potential areas for collaboration. Jeroen and Tinne are both full professors in the field of nursing. Following presentations by all parties, initial opportunities for cooperation were identified, and the first ideas will now be further developed.
