MUMC+ Weekend of Science

During the Weekend of Science at Maastricht UMC+ and Maastricht University, Kreshma Sidiq and Lieke Roeke represented the hospital pharmacy by introducing children to the world of hospital pharmacy and the research conducted within the department through a range of interactive activities.

Participants had the opportunity to experience first-hand what is involved in preparing intravenous infusions for administration. They also explored the concept of prescribing cascades through practical exercises.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to engage young minds with healthcare and scientific research, and it was inspiring to see the curiosity, questions, and enthusiasm of these future researchers.
