Patient Perspectives on Prescribing Cascades (P3C): "A Qualitative Study in the Netherlands"
Description
The aim is to investigate the perspective on adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and prescribing cascades (PC) in the Netherlands by patients that experienced a prescribing cascade and those who did not. The research will focus on expectations and experiences of ADRs and PCs and resolution of PCs. A qualitative approach will be used to provide in-depth insights into the experiences, perceptions, and behaviors of patients and their families. Contextual factors, communication dynamics, and individual perspectives will be explored, leading to a more comprehensive understanding and the development of tailored interventions to improve medication management and patient safety, ADRs and PCs.
