A single arm phase II study evaluating intracranial efficacy of tarlatamab in patients with asymptomatic active brain metastases from small cell lung cancer (T-BRAIN)
Description
Patients with small cell lung cancer (SCLC) have a high risk of brain metastases (BM). After progression on first line systemic therapy, second line treatment has limited intracranial efficacy, leading to the need for new systemic therapies with efficacy both systemically and intracranially.
Tarlatamab is a bispecific T-cell engager targeting delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3) and CD3 and has shown promising activity in heavily pretreated patients with SCLC.
The T-BRAIN study is a single-arm, phase 2 study evaluating the intracranial efficacy of tarlatamab in patients with SCLC and asymptomatic untreated or progressive brain metastases after first line chemotherapy.
