About

Dr. Annemariek Driessen started her PhD in pharmacoepidemiology at Maastricht University within the School for Public Health and Primary Care (CAPHRI) in 2012. Her research focused on unintended effects of anti-hyperglycaemic drugs and she has been awarded with two young-investigator awards for her PhD research.
After finishing her PhD, she continued working at Maastricht University as a postdoctoral researcher within the School for Cardiovascular Diseases (CARIM) and the School of Nutritional and Translational Research in Metabolism (NUTRIM). Annemariek's research mainly focus on diabetes and osteoporosis.
