Drs. Arta Aliu

After completing her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Drs. A. Aliu completed her master's degree in Physician-Clinical Researcher (AKO) at Maastricht University. After graduating, she worked as a resident in the Paediatrics department at the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven. Since September 2022, she has been conducting her PhD research in the field of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) at the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology/Maastricht UMC+. Her research focuses primarily on changes in patient-reported outcome measures in IBD patients starting a new treatment. In addition, she tries to bridge the gap between gastroenterology and paediatrics in her research.
